Collstone: The Build Process

How do you make a renovation process feel human, clear, and high-end?

Based in the South West of England, Collstone is a high-end renovation company that blends craftsmanship with personal service, specialising in listed and contemporary homes.

Collstone needed a way to show their six-stage build process and core values clearly, something that felt polished but approachable for clients.

I based the layout on a hexagon structure, echoing the pitched roofline in their logo. Next, I wrapped the same shape to create a symbolic ‘cornerstone’ for their values, while also tying nicely back to the kind of work they do.

Each icon was designed using elements from the logo (like square stroke caps and solid shapes) to keep things cohesive. Mindful of their audience, and the often-sensitive nature of home renovation, I created a wheelbarrow to represent the Construction phase, rather than something more aggressive like a drill.

The colour palette was pulled from midpoints between their existing brand colours, helping each phase stand out while still feeling unified.

The result is a graphic that feels bespoke, trustworthy, and human, just like their work.
